If you don’t eat here, you will really have missed out on the BEST MEAL in Alvor! And I visited seven restaurants this trip! I had a fish which was the freshest fish and yummiest I have ever eaten! I think it was called Bream? The grape sauce with pork chop was outstanding! The veggies were cooked to perfection and side dishes plentiful! We did not leave hungry that’s for sure! Desserts were fantastic, atmosphere was so inviting and a great place to be able to converse over wine. Vlad was so welcoming and gave the best attention to our every detail! We went here for dinner tonight, the food was fantastic. I had golden bream in a tomato sauce, which was the tastiest thing I’ve eaten in a long time. The portion sizes were really good. Really reasonably priced and the staff were very attentive. A new favourite. Definitely worth a try.

One of the best restaurants in Alvor. Situated right in the heart of Alvor's harbour eating area, Salsa is a little different from other local restaurants. Always a friendly welcome, attentive staff, delicious food and good value for money

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Very good food and very kind service. We ordered the salmon and the chicken piri piri. The included side dishes were very nice as well.
Have visited several times over the years, and will continue to visit when on holiday in the area again. 4 stars as lamb chops just very slightly overdone. Delicious potato and vegetable dishes, still giving complementary after dinner shot of port. Staff lovely, cheery and attentive.

The Ukrainian waiter was very friendly and efficient. Like many British people I prefer to eat early, so we were the first customers of the evening. This may explain why we were made to feel very special. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and without hesitation.Loved this little bistro, lovely welcome, still on limited winter menu, but we had the special of the day. Lovely fresh food with fresh veg,gratin potato and fries was a really nice meal at a sensible price. Thankyou 😁
